1:1000 a street photography project
Several years after acquiring my art collection, I was moved to explore street photography. Quite simply the camera went with me everywhere I went, resulting in a spontaneous visual essay on the human condition, while capturing some incredible moments in time. This hobby evolved into a three year project, as I kept seeking the extraordinary in the ordinary of every day life. The resultant 31 photos are all candid and unposed, and the pièces de résistance of over 30,000 frames shot, hence averaging about 1:1000.
