I often think of stories as I work in
my studioabout people, places, spirits. With
the feather medicine bags I am interested in the spirit, the story that the feathers
invoke. I see them as a kind of language both
visually and in the physical histories that they carry.
The work I create is an exploration of the connections between history,
physical materials, ritual and the spirit world.
